Beyond Basic Cross Stitch: Learn a variety of stitches with a variety of fibers while creating your very own sampler. Explore the art of cross stitch with colors of your choice.
Needlepoint on Painted Canvas: In this class you will have the opportunity to apply a variety of stitches to a painted canvas of your choice (bring your own or purchase a new one from us at 10% OFF during class). The instructor will consult with you on color, choice of fibers (your own or ours at 20% OFF during class). She will suggest the application of various stitches within your canvas. Students should have a good knowledge of basic needlepoint and a desire to expand their skills. This class will give you a chance to share your ideas with other dedicated needlepoint people.
Carousel Animals by Katrina Vosburgh: Katrina will be here in September or October to teach a two day class featuring her carousel animals. The object of her class is to experiment with fibers, color and stitches. You will select the animal you want to stitch and Katrina will show you many ways to complete the work. She tells us she wants each student to relax and stretch their imagination. Her goal is to help you be creative as you stitch these works of art. This is definitely a weekend dedicated to fun and relaxation. We suggest you plan to make it a “mini vacation/retreat” weekend. We are planning a dinner with the artist for one evening and Katrina will be here the third day at no charge just to spend more time with class members or to show her designs to those who could not attend class.
